Updated: 3 November 2026. UAE prices (AED) from Noon, Amazon.ae and official stores; India prices (₹) from Amazon.in and official India sites, all checked on that date.
Short answer: choose NutriCook if you want one big basket for the lowest price. The NutriCook Air Fryer Slim XL (NC-AFS200) gives you 7.6 litres for about AED 299 in the UAE or ₹7,399 in India. Choose Ninja if you want to cook two foods at once with different settings that finish together. The Ninja AF400ME dual-zone (9.5 litres) costs about AED 730 to 749, roughly two and a half times as much.
So the real question is not which brand is better. It is whether dual-zone cooking is worth the extra money for your family. Below we compare three current models from each brand, with UAE and India prices. If you are deciding between NutriCook and Philips instead, see our NutriCook vs Philips comparison.

Price tip: on the official Ninja UAE store the AF400ME was only AED 50 more than the AF300ME, but on Noon the gap was AED 140. If you are leaning towards Ninja, compare the live price of both before you decide. The larger drawers on the AF400ME are more useful for whole chicken or family portions.
Buying in India
Both brands sell in India, but the model codes differ from the UAE versions, so check the code before you compare reviews.

In India the price gap is even wider: about ₹7,400 for the NutriCook Slim XL against about ₹16,000 for the Ninja dual zone. We did not find the 9.5 L AF400ME sold officially in India. For more Indian options, see our best air fryers in India and Philips vs Inalsa guides.
Single basket vs dual zone: what you actually get
A single big basket (NutriCook Slim XL) is great for one large batch: a tray of wings, a kilo of fries, or roast vegetables. It is simpler, lighter on power (1700 W) and much cheaper. The slim shape also saves counter space.
Dual zone (Ninja AF300ME, AF400ME, SL400ME) means two separate drawers with their own temperature and timer. With SYNC, the Ninja starts the drawers at different times so chicken in one and fries in the other finish together. With MATCH, both drawers copy the same settings for a double batch. For a family dinner with a main and a side, this genuinely saves time.
The catch: each Ninja drawer is smaller than the NutriCook's single basket (3.8 or 4.75 L vs 7.6 L), so a whole chicken or a large fish fits more easily in the NutriCook Slim XL or the AF400ME than in the AF300ME. The Ninja models also draw more power (2400 to 2470 W).
Speed and energy claims. Ninja advertises faster cooking and lower energy use than an oven, but its own pages attach specific test conditions (such as sausages or fish fingers versus a fan oven with preheat), and the AF300ME page even gives two different speed figures. Treat these as marketing claims. Our running-cost guide shows how to estimate your own costs.
Coatings and materials
This matters to many buyers, so here is exactly what each brand says. NutriCook describes ceramic-coated baskets and makes “free-from” claims. Ninja's own FAQ for the AF300ME and AF400ME says the steel drawers are PTFE-coated (a non-stick coating), the crisper plates are aluminium with a nano-ceramic coating, and the exterior is BPA-free. Note that “PFOA-free” does not mean “PTFE-free”. We did not find independent food-contact certificates for either brand, so these are manufacturer descriptions. Whichever you buy, use silicone or wooden tools and see our air fryer cleaning guide to protect the coating.

| NutriCook NC-AFS200 (India) | Family capacity, crispiness (45 of 48 positive), value | No recurring complaint found |
| Ninja AF300ME | Two drawers, capacity, convenience, long-term family use | No repeated complaint found; one wished for a recipe book |
| Ninja AF400ME | Quick meals, everyday usefulness | No recurring complaint found (official review widget mixes in other products) |
| Ninja SL400ME | Speed, capacity, family use | Several mentions of a short cord and loud beeps; stacked layout takes learning |
These are review summaries and individual reports from Amazon.ae, Amazon.in, Noon and the official stores, not failure rates. Some Amazon ratings combine several sizes of the same model.

Frequently asked questions
Is Ninja better than NutriCook?
Ninja is better if you need two independent cooking zones. NutriCook is better value if one large basket is enough. Ratings are high for both.
Is NutriCook a good brand?
NutriCook was founded in 2019 and is based in Dubai. Its Slim XL had a 4.6/5 rating from 326 reviews on Noon and 4.5/5 from 464 on Amazon.in on 3 November 2026, with buyers praising capacity and crispiness.
Can I use a UAE air fryer in India?
NutriCook's warranty is valid only in the country of purchase, and Ninja's UAE cover may exclude international models. Buying the India version locally is safer for service.
Which Ninja dual zone should I buy in the UAE?
The AF400ME if the price gap to the AF300ME is small (it was AED 50 on the official store), because the larger drawers fit family portions. Choose the SL400ME if counter width is the problem.
What can I cook first in a new air fryer?
